The 41th edition of the Henley Half Marathon sees the same famous course offering runners a beautiful scenic route through Henley, over the famous bridge, and along the Thames Valley.
The Half Marathon has been run every year (except for 2020) since 1983!

TAKE ON THE CLASSIC 10K
Since the beginning of the Henley Half Marathon 40 years ago, thousands of runners have taken on the classic 10K route. Using the last 6.2 miles of the half marathon course you’ll be amongst hundreds of runners giving you the big city race experience in this beautiful town and surrounding countryside. Whether you’re pushing for a storming 10K personal best or making Henley your first attempt at 6.2 miles, you’ll find people of all paces to keep you going as you take in the sights.
A single 10K loop takes you through the town centre and out to “Heartbreak Hill”, the famous mile long climb seen as a personal challenge by many runners.
Following the descent, it’s a fast and flat run back to the Rugby Club.
We use road closures at the start to ensure safe passage for all runners through the town centre.
Superb souvenir medals await you, with replenishing snacks and drinks to kickstart your recovery. Grab a finisher’s photo on our podium before you leave and watch out for confirmation of your result within hours of the race.
